Welcome to Pembrokeshire! Where Ike enjoyed a late summer adventure and developed his language skills with fellow feline Languages Cat!
Ike’s base for his staycation in Pembrokeshire was in Haverfordwest with Languages Cat and her Dad and Mum, Geography teacher Gareth Williams and French and German teacher Sharon Williams.
Willkommen in Pembrokeshire!
Throughout Ike’s Welsh adventure in Pembrokeshire translation into French and German is supplied by Sharon Williams at Languages For Living.
Haverfordwest is located in Pembrokeshire, which is in southwest Wales:
They’ve been friends online for a while but now Ike gets to meet the real-life Languages Cat. You too can follow her on twitter @LanguagesCat.
Languages Cat has her own stunt double, and there’s a Geography Dog with the appropriate tweed jacket and leather elbow patches:
Ike and Languages Cat’s stunt double plan their next adventure together with Languages Cat as German interpreter:

He’ll need a little German, and Languages Cat taught him how to say “Ich liebe Erdkunde.” – “I love Geography.” That’ll be a good start.

And Ike received a gift from his new friends; a lovely new scarf in the colours of the German flag:

Ike also has a French lesson with Languages Cat. How to master the Enigmatic French Stare. Bof!

During his stay Ike will be visiting some scenic and interesting places, learning some French and German with Languages Cat and her mum Sharon, and discussing geography with dad Gareth.
Ike is becoming a very educated cat. His red, yellow and black scarf is in the colours of Albion Rovers and Partick Thistle and the blue, white and red one in the colours of Glasgow Rangers.
