A walk in the countryside, Mortain, France

On day 6 of his adventure in France with Cheryl and Roger, Ike went for another walk in the countryside around Mortain through fields of corn, with gorgeous views over the surrounding countryside:

One thing that he had noticed throughout his time in Normandy was the amount of crosses at road junctions, most of these were historically used as waymarkers:

At the end of the walk Ike climbed to the tiny Chapelle Saint Michele, 323 metres high with huge views across the surrounding countryside:

As the skies were so clear, Ike could see Mont Saint-Michel over 40 kilometres away.
